Is The Smile Center accepting new patients? +
Yes! We are happily acceping new patients at The Smile Center of Peoria. In our office, we provide comprehensive family, biological/holistic cosmetic, and emergency dentistry to patients of all ages in Peoria and surrounding areas.
What is included in the new patient appointment? +
Each new patient appointment consists of a full-set of low radiation x-rays, pictures of existing teeth and restorations, saliva testing and periodontal pockets evaluation. This is our RECORDS APPOINTMENT. It is important to TEST, NOT GUESS. During this appointment, we will also give you a supplement to negate any negative effects of any radiation from the x-rays. Please note, a dental cleaning is NOT performed at this appointment.
What if I don’t have dental insurance? +
At The Smile Center, we believe everyone should be able to obtain dental treatment. If you do not have dental insurance, we offer an in-house dental plan (can you link it to the page?). If you are not interested in the in-house plan, we offer a discount to all our cash pay patients.
In addition to cash, check, and major credit cards, we also accept CareCredit. CareCredit is a type of interest-free financing that allows you to break your payments down into easy monthly payments. Simply pay the balance within the agreed time period, and you won’t be charged any interest.
Major credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Please note we apply an additional charge for using an American Express card for dental treatment payment.
Does The Smile Center accept state insurance/medical card? +
No, we do not accept the state dental insurance. We would love to accommodate all insurances, but we would not be able to provide you with the same high standard of care when restricted by the state insurance guidelines.
Does The Smile Center treat children? +
We treat children of all ages. We would like to clarify, we are not a pediatric specialist, but we have the ability to treat kids in our office through behavior management and light sedation (i.e. nitrous oxide).
